Welcome to EggerMath. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EggerMath website at eggermath.com and all associated services, features, and content (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

EggerMath provides a free, browser-based Game Boy Advance emulator built on the open-source mGBA engine compiled to WebAssembly. The Service allows users to play Game Boy Advance (GBA), Game Boy (GB), and Game Boy Color (GBC) games directly in their web browser.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 years of age in the European Economic Area) to use the Service.

3. ROM Files and User Content

EggerMath does not provide, host, distribute, sell, or facilitate the acquisition of ROM files or any copyrighted game content. All ROM files are uploaded by you from your own local device. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any ROM files you use are lawfully obtained.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Upload malicious software or harmful code
Attempt to reverse engineer the emulator or Service
Use automated tools to interact with the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service

5. Intellectual Property

The mGBA emulator engine is open-source software licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL 2.0). The EggerMath website design, code, branding, logos, and all original content are owned by EggerMath.

6. DMCA and Copyright Complaints

EggerMath respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown request via [email protected].

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL EGGERMATH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
